Meet some of HSP's wonderful adoptable dogs in downtown Safety Harbor at this FREE street festival offering shopping, dining, entertainment, and live music at the John Wilson Park Gazebo and other venues throughout town.

Yappy Hour at Taste
Last Saturday
of Every Month 4 - 7 pm (on hold until September)
Bring your pup and meet some of HSP's great adoptable dogs at Taste, 500 Main Street in Safety Harbor. Taste provides homemade doggie snacks and water
for the pooches, and drink specials and live music for the humans. A percentage of the sales will be donated to HSP!

Cruisin' For Critters, Saturday, October 4th, Registration 8:00 - 9:15, Depart at 9:30 am

 Join HSP's first ever Motorcycle Poker Run and help support the animals!
All bikes are welcome.
The fun starts at Eve's Family Restaraunt and continues on to Captain Jack's Sunset Grill, Danny's Food and Spirits on Curlew, Fletcher's Harley Davidson, and ends with an awards ceremony at Quaker Steak & Lube.
Purchase a hand for $10, or 3 hands for only $20. Prizes will be awarded to the best hand, second best hand, and the worst hand! Look for the 50/50 raffle and door prizes as well.

Give your pet the best holiday gift: a ticket home! Have your pet microchipped for only $10. Don't forget to bring proof of current rabies vaccine and license for dogs and cats over 3 months of age. No appointment is necessary.

- Saturday, September 6th, 9 am - 4:30 pm: Clearwater Kennel Club's AKC Responsible Pet Ownership Day at the Harborview Center in downtown Clearwater. HSP will be represented at this informative event, stop by and say hi!
- Saturday, September 20th: Pinellas County Hunter Association has selected HSP as their chosen charity for 2008. PCHA's $1000 Hunter Classic and $500 Mini-Prix will be held Friday and Saturday, September 19th and 20th at the Florida State Fairgrounds - Bob Thomas Equestrian Center. We look forward to being present on Saturday with some of our adoptable pets!
- Sat-Sun, November 15-16: Christmas Under the Oaks is back for a full weekend at Coachman Park in Clearwater! HSP will be selling our famous holiday baskets once again!
- Sat-Sun, November 22-23: Florida Family Pet Expo at the Tampa Convention Center. Visit HSP and other vendors at this one-stop venue for pet products and services.
- Sunday, December 14th: Safety Harbor Kiwanis Arts & Crafts Show
